Having a hard time staying awake today. I got tired around 8 p.m. last night, but knew if I went to bed then I would be up at 2 a.m. and be unable to get back to sleep. As it was I had a hard time falling asleep at all last night. I have a headache that won't go away which is a little frustrating.
Saturday I had a full day. It started on about 4 hours of sleep. I had a craft show from 9 (set up at 8) to 3. I sold a single, yes one, pair of earrings. $5 was what I made. Luckily the woman I shared the table with did more that I did and said I didn't have to pay my half of the table ($15) which was good. It was frustrating because women kept coming up and on seeing my record bowls said "Oh. I should do that with my records. How do you do it?" I wanted to say "Just buy mine, they are finished." but instead I told them that they had to be careful about the bowls they used since the record is toxic when heated. They seemed a bit wigged out by that, but I didn't care.
I left the show early since I had a wedding to go to at 4 and it was in Brighton, which was about 30 minutes from where I was. It was a very pretty wedding, but I felt a little odd since I went by myself and I really didn't know many people at the wedding. The ones I did know I didn't know well. Luckily one of the groom's friends sat at our table and he was hilarious. It made it much easier for the rest of us. We discussed everything from the couple to the Muppets and much much more.
From the wedding I went to a Halloween party. It was winding down when I got there because one of the hosts had been feeding people lots of tequila. I quickly changed in to my costume and played the dvd edition of Family Feud. Which in case you are wondering is very difficult to play when people have had too much to drink. I got home and crashed. I spent most of the next day sleeping or reading. I could use an extra day, but it isn't going to happen.
I am home. IAnd as much fun as I had it will nice to be in my own bead tonight. I can't remember what I wrote last post so here is a new list of things I did while in SF...
Walked along the Golden Gate Bridge Saw the Palace of Fine Arts... which is just beautiful Went to the DeYoung museum... it was closed after the 89 earthquake and they just now built a new building Went to the Modern Art Museum... some cool photography, but not much else there appealed to me Went to the Asian Art Museum. Beautiful stuff there. I also liked the feel of the museum. Saw my friends Derek and Lucius who took me to the Castro and to the Mission. Found out that Gay men love my breasts. Went on a Bay Cruise. It was so beautiful out on the water. Saw the Redwoods out at Muir Woods. Stunning. Walked up to Coit Tower. (OMG my legs are still mad at me.) Worth the $3.75 just for the guy who worked the elevator. Walked through China Town... twice. Took 13 rolls of film My flight home was cancled, but they upgrade me from America West to Delta. I got my row to my self on both flights.
I am sure there are more things... and I will write more in depth about my trip soon.
I am setting up a blog at blogger. Like most I will double post for awhile to see if it is what I want to do. Stop on over if you want to say hi. I miss the old tblog where there was a lot of social interaction. Unfortunately blogger doesn't have that.
I am in kind of a pissy mood today. I got a phone call from a blocked id at 3:40 this morning. I didn't answer it, but it was enough to wake me up. This on top of the fact that last night someone's car alarm was going off at 1:30 am. I can go on little sleep, but this is ridiculous.
So in honor of my bad mood I am going to list some pet peeves/annoyances for you to enjoy. I know I am probably repeating myself, but deal. (See, I told you I was in a mood.)
~ Those crazy bright headlights that nearly blind you. Who thought that was a good idea?
~ People who act all coy about something while dropping hints, but never come out and say what they are talking about. Either say it or don't. Either way I don't care, but don't bother me with "clues". It is just childish.
~ Shuffling feet
~ IPOD/cell phone users who are oblivious to their surroundings. I am at the point where I will mow you over.
~ People who complain about the same thing for months on end, but never do anything about it.
~ People who call at 3:40 in the morning.
~ People who don't bother to figure out how to turn off their car alarms.
~ People who don't follow through with plans and don't call you to tell you that the plans have changed. (Even Alms called to say she was in a car accident... if you aren't wounded you have no excuse!!)
~ "Do as I say. Not as I do." people.
Okay, I am starting to feel better. Thanks for letting me vent.
Okay, so I am putting some stuff up at Zazzle just to see if anything happens. I hadn't used the account in awhile and just saw that one sold a few months ago. I am going to do cards and posters there. Any images of mine you think I should include?

The image is broken, but the link works fine... not sure what is up.
As I said yesterday I just haven't been in a blogging mood. I have actually been doing a lot of work at work, which sort of cuts in to my blogging time. Also, not much had been worth blogging about. Other than some financial woes which I am trying to work on. I am trying not to let it impact my upcoming California trip. I am just not sure where it all goes. And why I seem to be so far behind. I cut back at the video store, but I might need to pick up some shifts. I am also going to try to do some craft shows this season. I still don't have my web page up, but I asked a friend to help me on that and I am not sure if she has gotten anywhere on it. I am just tired of being beyond broke. It is really frustrating. That is one of the disadvantages of being single... that there is no one to help cover basic costs like rent and utilities. Maybe I need to put Moose to work.
