One of the perks of my new apt is that I don't have to drive to work. I have a short walk to the bus and that is it. It is free and I don't have to worry about trying to find a parking place. Plus it appeals to my environmental side.  One of the downsides of riding public transportation is the other people. For awhile there were 3 6th/7th grade girls who rode with me in the morning... one of them NEVER stopped talking. And talking loudly. Also, buses are often smelly. Just the nature of the beast. But here is one of my best bus stories ever....

I got on the #6 going back to the tranist center and saw a driver I knew sitting with the rest of the passengers. I sat down to start talking to him. These seats do not face the front of the bus, but the other side. The woman sitting across the aisle  looked up as  I sat down. She said "Excuse me miss" and started to get up toward me. She leaned in real close and cupped her hands around my ear and  whispered "You have a hole in your jeans and your poopy is showing".  Yes , I had a whole in my jeans... 2 actually... about mid-thigh. But what the hell is a poopy? And why couldn't she just tell me a whole in my jeans from where she was sitting. She made my ear all moist. *shudder* So, assuming she meant my butt was showing, she needs to learn more anatomy.  Maybe she was shocked by my blingingly white thighs.  I thanked her and went back to my conversation.  I looked up a bit later and saw she was reading a pamphlet on transgender... so maybe she was confused.

Just wanted to let you know your poopy is showing. Better take care of that.
